ARTIST BIO
Violet Morningstar is an artist based out of Ventura California where she was born and raised. From an early age she has found it important to use her creativity as an outlet to express her emotions and reflect on the past. A way to escape reality. Violet works and experiments with a variety of mediums such as graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, lithographs, acrylics, oil, found objects and ceramics. A lot of her works are inspired by the human form, wildlife, and her grandmother who taught her how to draw and nurtured her creative spark. Initially Violet was a self-taught artist, In 2023 she enrolled into Ventura Community College to further refine her skills in fine arts, and continue to search and experiment with new techniques and mediums.
